• Can I really earn £100,000 a year?
This is almost always the first question asked and the answer is yes. However, the answer yes is assuming you will be working full time (Monday to Friday 9 –5) in the business and you work the way you are shown during training. It may not happen in your first year but by the end of your second year £100,000 is more than achievable. Your 4th year will start to bring even higher earnings due to end of lease opportunities, these are explained during your training. But yes you can earn £100,000 plus.


• How much of my commission do you take?
Absolutely none, you keep all the commission earnings from your hard work and we will pay you within 72 hours of any deal being done. You won’t wait to be paid.


• What exactly does a Technology Leasing Franchisee do?
As a Technology Leasing Regional Director, your two main responsibilities will be, firstly, to obtain lease applications from businesses interested in leasing commercial equipment. This can be both direct from the end user or through the supplier chain you will develop. Once you assist your clients in filling out our simple proposal, all you have to do is fax/ post the information to us. At this point, the Head Office Team takes over, working diligently to approve and fund your deal. While we handle the more intricate parts of the leasing process, you will be able focus 100% of your time on generating new businesses. Secondly, account manage your clients, this means keep in touch with them, mostly over the phone but also sometimes visiting.


• Why would someone want to do business with a Technology Leasing rather than a bank?
In most cases, banks lack the flexibility to offer our clients the variety of options that appeal to their individual needs. Taking into consideration that banks typically lend money to people with excellent credit, our diverse funding options allow you to offer services for businesses having a wide range of credit histories. Without using the services of a company such as Technology Leasing who specialise in this market sector, it would be difficult for an individual business to organise financing on their own. Our flexibility and lending capabilities will give you an edge in the leasing industry.


• Is this a business a working mother could run?
This is always a tough question but only to make sure we don’t upset anyone and the answer basically is yes. Because, you are able to determine your diary, workload and have Head Office to complete documents, working around a busy family life is achievable. But being organised is a must.


• Do I have to give up my job?
Not necessarily, It’s up to you how much time you want to invest in your business. You can set your own timetable and income goals, the decision is entirely yours. The one thing we recommend is that you set a fixed schedule each week, which you will devote to the business. A husband and wife team, or friends can work the business together, so it is run full time, but each person works part time.


• Do I need any experience to be in the asset leasing business?
NO. This business is not complicated we will teach you how to run your own leasing business. During your training you will be taught the core elements to asset finance and how they are applied. The expert staff at Head Office carries out all the funding source organisation, completion of documentation, organising invoicing and payment. You don't need prior experience - just the desire to run your own business, be your own boss and a passion to succeed and make money.


• Do I take any of the financial risk on leases?
No. The funding company do all the checks required and take all the financial risk. You take your commission and it is yours to keep. It is unusual for a deal to go sour but it can happen, if it does the lending company (lessor) bares all the costs.


• How do I get clients?
This is a very important issue to a new business. Firstly, from you over the past few years you will have met people from your work background, golf club, football club, friends etc, that can assist you directly and indirectly in bringing business to you and we show you how to develop this. Secondly, every month you are given sales lead opportunities to work with never any less than 50 per month. These leads are the lungs of your business, use them to full advantage and your business will grow.


• Do I need an office?
No. This is the beauty of a Technology Leasing franchise it can be home based, work around your family and fit in with your life. Although, it must be said that it does take self-discipline to work from home and not get distracted. However, daytime telly is so bad it would make you want to work.
